We are Jimi, Sarah and Gracie and we thank you for taking the time to get to know us!

Why Adoption?
About a year after we were married we decided that we wanted to have children. After many years of tests and procedures it was clear that our family was meant to come a different way. We knew that adoption was the path that our Heavenly Father wanted us to travel. Adoption has been the answer to many many prayers. Gracie has blessed our lives and healed our hearts in so many ways. We know that she was meant to be part of our eternal family. We are so excited to embark on this journey again and cannot wait to add another spirit to our family. We are extremely grateful for birthmothers and birthfathers and so very humbled that there is this beautiful option out there to bring our family home to us.
Our Beginnings
We have been married for eight wonderful years.
This is how our story began...
Jimi and I met in high school.
On our very first date he brought me flowers and then we went to see the musical West Side Story. I was very surprised when Jimi, who pretended to be so tough up to that point, knew most of the words to most of the songs.
We went on a few more dates but just thought of each other as good friends.
We went on to date other people and after months had passed, I was in a bad car accident. Jimi came to my house almost every day to visit me. It was during that time that we found our way back to one another. We dated for several months...
and then wrote letters for two years while Jimi was serving a mission for our church (lds.org)
Jimi came home from his mission on a Thursday afternoon...
(This is the day Jimi came home from his mission)
We were engaged 3 days later!
And married nine weeks after that!
As it turns out, a 'good friend' makes for the best marriage.

From Sarah...
From the first moment he held her, Gracie had her daddy wrapped around her tiny little finger.
Jimi works very hard to provide for our family so I can stay home with Gracie. As a medical sales rep, he travels all over the Seattle area meeting new people from every walk of life. Jimi is warm and accepting of everyone. He is very good with people and never forgets a name! Jimi is very smart and is constantly learning new things. He loves to read and has this amazing talent for reading something once and remembering it for life. I think he is going to be the next Alex Tribec one day because he loves Jeopardy!
Gracie loves her daddy so much and if he walks out of the room without her, she instantly turns to tears. We are so blessed to have this amazing man as a husband and father.
From Jimi...
Sarah is an incredible mother and wife. To say that Sarah loves crafts is a complete understatement! In her 'downtime' she is never far from a can of spray paint or a hot glue gun. She is great at creating things for our home and hair bows for Gracie to wear. She truly finds joy in being a 'play-at-home' mom and cherishes her days spent with Grace. Sarah gives all she has to our family and makes our home a place of love and happiness.
We are so blessed to have Sarah stay home with Gracie. I love coming home and hearing about the little adventures they have had during the day- good and bad :)
Its amazing to see the bond that Sarah has with Gracie. Sarah is definitely Gracie's mother and Gracie is Sarah's daughter. Sarah is always putting her family first and has a true love for serving others.
